Family restaurant with friendly staff. Always willing to make something special for you, even during their busy hours. Always been a place to go when you needed something to eat, laugh or even just blow off steam. Bernardos has always helped out the local kids when first entering the work force and taught them well. I would recommend this place time and time again. Bomb Steaks are 10 out of 10 Stromboli 10 out of 10 Cheese Pizza 10 out of 10 Staff 10 out of 10 also easy on the eyes :)

Oh, Bernardo's. Why are you so far away from me? You're in the Foothills, I'm in town. But I swear, if I have another craving for those ham and tuna hot sandwiches, I'm going to make that 11 mile drive just to get to you! Something about that "unexpected" combination sends me! Of course, there's other offerings, equally tasty and addictive. My husband is a diehard fan of the Bomb Steak. Go. Now. Sorry, forgot the pictures! Food disappeared into our tummies, just like that.

This really great Stromboli place has been around for almost 2 decades. Loved the 1st place on Foothills. The newer Fortuna location is larger & still as kick ass as ever. It takes me 4 days to finish one Stromboli, I weigh 207pounds.

We arrived about 5:10 and we're told they were out of pizza ! WHAT???? DID NOT REALIZE THEY CLOSED AT 6: go behind the counter said if we didn't mind waiting that they would make up some more for us. It was worth the wait crust was thin and crispy toppings were good I would say the toppings were a little bit skimpy but I'm used to be old juicy Wisconsin pizzas. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend going to bernardo's

Close to the I8 at Fortuna Road. We've been searching for some delicious pizza in Yuma. We found it here at this family owned business. The crust, the homemade sauce, and toppings blend into a perfect pizza. We also ordered the steak Stromboli-our first time to have Stromboli. It was delicious! The peppers and sauce toppings were perfect accoutrements. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. Order and pay at counter. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Indoor and outdoor patio dining available. Very clean restaurant/dining areas. Self serve fountain drinks. Per associates, they allow patrons to bring their own beer or wine. This place was busy right up until closing. Lots of to go orders. Note: Since they close at 6 pm, it's worth calling ahead and utilizing the pick up service for a delicious take home dinner.

Bernardo's is a generational establishment owned by Mark Bernardo in Yuma, known for their signature staples that transcend the region. Growing up, my go-to meal was always the Pepper Steak sandwich, complete with a bottle of Dr Pepper and a bag of chips. Though I missed the chance to visit recently, I imagine the flavors remain just as delicious today. In my opinion, Bernardo's Stromboli and pizza are simply unparalleled. These dishes offer the greatest taste sensation in their respective categories. Whether you're passing through or searching for a new place to dine, Bernardo's should be at the top of your list. It's safe to say that Bernardo's is synonymous with Yuma, Arizona. As someone who frequents Yelp for pizza recommendations, I implore you to take my recommendation seriously and visit this establishment first. In my 38 years of experience, few places come close to the quality of Bernardo's.
